My Christmas Wish

OK so I know many of you enjoy reading my blog and I very much enjoy writing it. I am sharing Brady with everyone and now it is time for you all to give back. I want you to share yourself with Brady. I absolutely hate that he will grow up not seeing family and friends everyday. I want to make him a book of people who love him. So I need your help, I want you to send me a picture or you or your family and a paragraph telling Brady anything. I literally mean you can write anything from favorite things, vacations, stuff you like do as a family, silly stories. If you are trying to figure out what I am talking about here is an example of what my page would say.

This is Mommy. Her favorite color is pink. She loves the beach, reading, and going to visit new places. Her favorite food is Mexican food. When she was a little girl all she wanted was a dog and dangling earrings. She now has 2 dogs but doesn't like earrings that dangle. Mommy loves sleeping in and hearing the waves at the beach. Mommy hopes that when you are bigger you will always say "please" and "thank you" and hopes that you like to stay clean. Mommy grew up in Pennsylvania. She has 1 brother named Tommy. Mommy and Daddy met when they were in college. She loves to whistle and make up the words to songs. Someday this may annoy you, bu for now you like it.

OK that is not my exact page but you get the idea. Be creative and remember it is a book for a baby so don't worry about writing something silly. I want him to have a chance to see and hear about people in his life. We read together everyday and you can see from his previous pictures that he enjoys it. I would love to have this done by Christmas so you have some time. I want as many people to contribute as possible. I know alot of people look at this site because they enjoy looking at Brady so please help me by letting Brady look at you and your family. Storytime at the Library

Brady and I have started going to storytime at the library every Wednesday. He is the youngest of the bunch but still loves all of the songs and movement. We have been reading with Brady everyday since he was just a few weeks old. Now he seems to be a pro at this whole reading thing. We were all laughing because he was so serious while looking at his book. He stayed like this for a few minutes and was cracking me up.

Mommy's Helper

Now that Brady is getting a bit more mobile I have to find ways to contain him. When I am doing his laundry this is what I do. He thinks it is too funny. When I do our laundry I put him in the white plastic baskets. I carry him around like this when I fold the laundry and he just hangs out. He is a good sport.





And just one last picture of him trying to sit up. Totally not a mastered trick, he promptly fell over after I took the picture.

Ruler of the remote

Brady's new favorite toy is the remote control. I totally don't mind him wanting to control it as long as he is not like his father and flicks constantly. It is enough to drive a sane person crazy. I also love these new jammies. They are super cute but a pain in the rear to put on.





Look Ma, no hands! (sort of) He work on sitting quite often but seems so not interested in sitting still enough to not fall over. This kid is moving all over the place and it is wearing me out!!

Don't hate us because we are idiots

OK So I had the idea for this picture and I must say Jim was appalled. We must have looked nutty doing this in the front yard, but that was better than doing it in the aisle in Target where I wanted to do it. He really didn't mind it, I promise. Doesn't he look so cute as a pumpkin boy? This kid cracks my shit up. He is going to need therapy someday when he sees this pictures.



Guys are you kidding me? I am sitting indian style in a ceramic pumpkin. Get a life! Or at least a hobby!

Hmmm, maybe this isn't so fun and maybe this doesn't taste good enough to eat.

Sweet Potato Baby

This morning Brady had his first go at homemade sweet potatoes. I made 16 tons of it last night so luckily he liked it. I thought there would be faces made and ejected food, but it was like he has eaten them before and just gobbled it up. I seriously imagined it to be drama filled and it wasn't and I might have been a tad disappointed.

Hamming it up for Daddy. Still loves the oatmeal. This kid loves to eat.


And here are 2 pictures from a Halloween party we went to where we sang songs and played with these scarves. It was very crowded and a bit overwhelming for Brady so we bolted, but not before we sang a tune or two.

Brady loves Sippy Cups

Today Brady tried a sippy cup for the first time. I don't know if he actually got any liquid out of the cup but he had a great time biting it and throwing it around.

Hmmm, what is this thing?


So it tastes pretty good, am I just supposed to bite it or maybe lick it?

5 months old

Holy shit, Brady is 5 months old. Yesterday was the official 5 month mark so here are the pics. I hope Brady wearing his Red Sox shirt wasn't the bad luck that cost them the series. I am already thinking is name ruined the season for the Patriots. Oh well, we aren't big fans of New England sports anyway. And enjoy the sneak review of his Halloween costume!!

Beer Tour

Yesterday, we went to the Anheuser Busch factory to take a tour. It is a free tour and you get free beer at the end, so what part of that is bad??





Brady is checking out the beer that Mommy and Daddy drank in college.. Natty!!


Then we walked over to see the Clydesdale Horses.


Two of them were getting a bath. That was something we didn't get to see the last time went there.
