Our Not Good News

Our worst nightmare came true today, no heartbeat was found. While, I appreciate all your thoughts and prayers, I do not wish to talk about it so please don't respond to this. We need time to digest the shit sandwich we were served today.  Thank You.

Halloween Party

Today we went to a toddler Halloween Party.  What could be cuter than a room full of toddlers in costume?  Here is Brady in his cute Halloween shirt from Nan.

Group pictures time surely wasn't Brady's favorite time of the party.

Brady started crying which caused Logan to cry which then caused Colby to cry.  It was a pretty sad scene.

Everyone stopped crowding his space and he got happy again.

Brady then took it upon himself to test the limits of safety.  He then proceeded to stand on the coffee table and then on the tv table edge hugging the tv and licking it. This kid is kinda bizarre sometimes.

"Oh what, I am not supposed to get up here?"

I thought this one was cute, Aubrey said "cheese" while I was trying to take Brady's picture.  Brady can now climb on and off of everything.  He spent a good bit of time sitting and standing on those chairs.

Since we were near Manchester we stopped at Jim's work to show off Brady's costume.  Here he is juggling the White Sox world series balls.  I can't believe he managed to get all 3 down and walk with them.

I think he was so surprised he managed to walk to the desk still holding all 3 balls.

The monkey spotted the banana on the desk.

Playing Catch Up

Here are a few pictures from last weekend and yesterday.

Walking around the yard at Mimi and Pap's house.

Pap was really hoping he would love the quad.  Yeah, not so much.  He screamed bloody murder the whole time.

Trying on the big helmet, you can just assume what he was doing under the helmet.  A hint... there were tears involved.

Brady wore his Phillies shirt yesterday to cheer them on.

Happy kid loving life.

Window Coloring

I went to Target yesterday on the hunt for some crafty supplies, specifically window markers.  Lucky me, they were on clearance so I cleaned them out of window markers.  Picasso Lasher things they are awesome.  Lucky for us, they wipe off very easily because he sure gets carried away.  It kept him entertained while I cooked last night which is quite the feat.  So for $2 I bought myself peace and not so quiet during meal making time.  Woohoo!  Here is Picasso this morning after breakfast going to town.  Get ready, I'm gonna say it again.... Man, I love this kid!

Not sure what he was doing here, but I thought it was a funny picture.

17 Months Old

Yep, it's that time again.  Brady is 17 months old today.  This kid is going to be 30 before I know it.  The photo shoot went surprisingly well, I figured out the key to keeping him happy..... snacks.

Gagging himself.  Lovely new skill.

Sneak preview of his Halloween costume.  How cute is he?

Pumpkin Painting

Today Brady and I tried a fun activity after breakfast.  I think I have a little Picasso on my hands.  He didn't hesitate and jumped right in.

I made the mistake of asking him where his nose was.  I guess I should wait until his hands are free to do that.

Cheese face!

He thought painting the floor would be fun too.

Weekend Pictures

Here are some pictures from the weekend.  Nothing too grand, just us.  Brady and I had donuts for breakfast.  Jim's body is apparently a temple and he is too healthy for donuts, booo!!

Last spring I planted a vegetable garden.  I planted over 50 plants, built the beds myself, and hauled the dirt with a little help from Jim.  All that hard work and all I have to show for it is this little tiny watermelon.  We picked it and Brady wanted to carry it around.  It only lasted 5 minutes before he dropped it and it split open.  Oh well, there's always next year.

Pounding it with Dad.

Don't ask.....

Brady's First Haircut

Yes, you read that right.  Brady had his first haircut.  It was just too many lengths and looked sloppy.  It was also going over his collar on his shirt and that was the beginning stages of a mullet, and I can't have that.  This place was awesome. They had TVs at every stand with tons of movies to pick and video games too.  Jim wants to go there to get his hair cut.

I love the excited look, like he is cheering for Daddy.

Brady got a dumdum and watched Dora and sat like a perfect angel.

All done! (and covered in lollipop drool)

My baby has finally come to love condiments.  Here he is dipping his nuggets in ketchup.  He is such a big boy.

 Yum.

"Mom, stop taking my picture, I am focusing!"

From snack time the other day, just a cute kid picture or 2.

Brady has recently figured out how to pull out the chairs and climb on up.  Sometimes he sits nice at the chair.

And then other times he doesn't.  This is him on top of the table and me underneath taking his picture.  I don't mind the laying but it's the standing on the slippery glass table that makes me nervous.  He of course thinks its hysterical.
