Today is Mimi's birthday and Brady wants to wish her a happy day. This is his version of saying Happy Birthday. We practiced all day and this is the best he can do. Its super cute, but barely understandable.

Beautiful Beach Day
Beautiful, but darn chilly. Jim's guess is that the ocean was about 40 degrees. You would think we would be able to keep that lunatic out of the water, but no such luck. Laying in the water brought our day to a screeching halt, but he even tried getting back in the water. What a goon!!
Brady sporting his new bathing suit. And by new I mean about 10 minutes old. He pissed through his shorts, big time, and we had to stop to buy him shorts. I figured he would need a back up bathing suit and it was on sale, so why not. And I didn't see it being appropriate putting him on the chilly beach in just a diaper. Judge away!

"This way Mom."

Watching the kites. He kept counting them, it was super cute. Speaking of counting, we let him watch a DDD, which is how he says DVD, on the long car trip out to the coast. Dora was counting in spanish and he actually knew when ocho came in the list. I heard him saying seis throughout the day. Whoever says tv rots kids brains are a big bunch of wadded up panties people. Dora is making this kid a genius.

I love this hat and am thrilled I was able to get one this summer just like the one last summer, but his eyes are constantly covered and his ears are bent down. He must have been trying to watch a dog, kite, loud kid with a truck, or just about anything that struck his fancy.

He thought he was so funny running in and out of the water.

I totally blew out this picture but they were having so much fun in this one.

He didn't think it was so funny then. Although it didn't stop him from laying down a second time in the water. What a nutjob. It was hurting my feet just standing in it up to my ankles.

Contemplating going back in.

Snuggled up with Mom and getting warm. This kid is so fun these days.

Nudie Magazine Day
"Its Nudie Magazine Day!" Ok not quite for Brady, just for Billy Madison. Recently Jim got a toddler development email stating that at 23 months they "should" be able to dress and undress themselves. For the first time in Brady's life Jim took an interest in toddler development and has frantically been working with Brady to teach him to undress himself. I work on the dressing part since I am the one who dresses him in the morning. Anyway, this morning he proved to me that he could could in fact master the undressing task. This morning while watching his shows I look up and he has no shirt on. Next thing I know his pants and diaper are strewn about the living room. And since I'm a good sport I let him hang out in his birthday suit. In 3 or 4 short minutes he did enough giggling and pissing on the floor to last weeks. He's lucky he's cute and also that his father wasn't home, because we all know Daddy is the fun-police. Only continue looking at this post if you aren't offended by crack, toddler crack that is.
Showing off his lifting skills.
A few quick laps around the first floor.
A quick siesta was earned apparently. How can you not chuckle at this picture?
Taking care of baby now. Obviously this kid doesn't stop moving.
Baby needed his Ming. This is the first talk of baby doll's Ming since Brady gave his up. I was nervous but he didn't seem to care that baby had one and he didn't.
I love how dimply his tushy is.

Perfect day for a pignic
Today the weather was perfect when we got home from the gym so I decided we would eat lunch outside on my major craigslist find picnic table. Poor woman, she totally could have sold it for way more money. We went in to make the sandwiches and I kept telling him we were going to have a picnic and he kept saying "pignic".
What pignic is complete without a bag of juice?
Twizzlers are the perfect end to a pignic.
Then he moved onto picking "flowers". The girls were over the other night picking dandelions and since then he is obsessed with picking them. The wheelbarrow was covered in them. The only part is, he is picking them from the empty house next door. I mean, if the kid wants a useless crappy task to do I will have him pick weeds at our house.
Can you see whats in there, rocks, a watering can, and dandelions. Boys are so weird.
After spending a long ass time outside it was way past naptime. I put him down, took a shower, and came downstairs. I was sewing and could hear this squealing sound over and over again. The dogs were of course at my feet, because you know thread tastes so yummy and they were hoping for some scraps, so I knew it wasn't them. I checked the monitor and it was him, literally bouncing all over that crib and cracking himself up. Not sure if you can the video monitor and can tell where he is, but at least enjoy the audio.

When toddlers take pictures
I had the camera outside with us and Brady snagged it. He immediately faced it towards himself and said cheese while pushing the correct button. Problem was it was off. I fixed that problem and turned it on for him. He thought taking pictures was the greatest thing since lollipops. I am including every picture he took because they are too funny not to.
At this point I am telling him his finger is in the way but instead of coming over to let me help him he continued taking pictures and giggling uncontrollably.
He finally let me help. Such a stellar picture of me, I am thinking of making it my facebook profile picture.
This is him chasing the dogs trying to take their pictures.
He got almost got a dog.
I consider this pretty decent since he was telling "cheese Zoe" while chasing her and managed to get her in the shot.
