Tall Ships boat trip

Yesterday we were lucky enough to go to see the Tall Ships in Portsmouth by boat. The lines were crazy long but not for us. We just pulled right up to the ships to get a good look. It was Brady's first boat trip and he loved it. I was envisioning a crying baby who was throwing up the whole time. The only part he wasn't a huge fan of was the life jacket. It was a bit tight and constricting but he was a good sport about it.

This boat was the coolest, it was like a pirate ship.

Jim is going to kill me for this picture, but I couldn't help myself. Jim was mimicking the face Brady made the whole time he sat because it would ride up to his face and nearly smother him.

He also couldn't get himself back up to the sitting position which was pretty fun if not kinda mean laughing at him.

Trying to sit.

We ended up pulling up the beach for a little relaxing. We didn't know we were getting off the boat at all so we left our bathing suits in the car. Good thing he can sport a diaper and no one thinks anything of it. He of course loved the beach like usual. And he had only rocks and a red solo cup to play with.

Keeping an eye on the boat.

"Here, let me help you with the anchor. I am pretty strong."

Throwing rocks with Dad.

I love this picture.

This was at about 3 o'clock and he hadn't napped all day. He conked out and slept the whole way back to the dock. Aaahhhhh! This is the life!
