Chuck E. Cheeses

Today we went to Chuck E. Cheese for the first time. Brady pretty much everything except 1 ride with a huge Chuck in it staring at you. Other than that he toddled around checking everything out. It was far cleaner than I ever remember it being.

Trip to the Philadelphia Zoo

Today we took our first trip to the Philadelphia Zoo. Uncle Tommy and Rachel went with us and we had a blast. I know I say that about every activity and trip we do but seriously all 4 of us had so much fun. He loved it and was on his best behavior which is great.

Monkey Man

Look how close that gorilla is. We lucked out and he was sitting right there when we walked up. He got up and didn't come back so we were happy we got this pic when we did. How crazy is that?

He liked touching the gorilla hand.

And a sunflower. Are you seeing a pattern here? We took his picture at every cutout pic. If Jim was with me he would have hated this and said no more. Luckily Rachel and Tom are good sports.

In the Children's Petting Zoo. He touched every goat and poked their butt and flipped their tails.


Can you see how he is leaning over the one goat to get to the other? He really liked that guy. Not sure why because when Uncle Tommy touched that bump part he dry heaved.

Once again clapping for himself. We were on our way out at this point.

He was so pooped out. Here is his black eye that got on a walk with Uncle Jacob. They went off roading apparently and he smacked his face on the steering wheel. Oh well.

My early birthday party

Since we are home for a visit we celebrated my birthday a bit early with some cake and ice cream. Here is Brady helping me blow out my candles.

Mimi dropped him in the mud. That is dirt on his forehead. He didn't care at all. I am totally kidding, he poured out a water bottle and fell in it.

This is Brady's way of helping me open my present. I got a Shark steam mop and can't freaking wait to try it out. I am super lame, I know!

Weekend at the Slatts Part 2

We spent another beautiful day at the beach on Saturday with Jenny and Ed. Brady spent 3 solid hours happily playing in the water and sand. What a relief to have a kid who likes the beach. He was sitting in the water and the waves were breaking all over him and he didn't even flinch.

These are his hand and foot prints on the deck. How cute! It wasn't so cute as he was splashing in the dog's water dish.


I was blowing bubbles for Brady but the dogs took over that game. It was the funniest thing ever. They were jumping up and eating them.


Brady is quite the pianist. He was rocking out.
