Lamest Zoo on Earth

On Tuesday Brady and I went with Miles and Cara to a zoo in Mass.  We used cheap passes from the library so it made it not too bad.  I can't believe people would pay 10 bucks to go see a fox and a porcupine.  There was 1 monkey that made the trip.

There was some sort of goat type animal in there that the boys were actually able to find in all the greenery.

Here is the short video of Brady going down the bouncy slide yesterday at the fair. His face was priceless. He loved it.

Visit with Rachel

Rachel was here this weekend for a visit and we had an awesome time. Saturday morning we went apple picking. Brady got an apple from the first tree. Nibbled for a minute and then.......


And then promptly passed out. He didn't wake up until we were getting back in the car. Oh well, I guess maybe we will try again. And I guess he wasn't interested in giving up his apple, he wanted to save it for later.

But then this happened and he dropped the apple. Good thing we pick 893 apples.


Here are our attempts at family pictures. He was so not interested in waking up all the way for these.


After we left the apple farm we found a fair/carnival thing. Luckily we were able to go on a ride at this one. The slide was super fun but smelled like old rotten feet mixed with a mushroom farm. Yuck!

Then today we went to Kids Appreciation day here in Milford. Jim's company had a part in it so that's what brought us there. He got to ride the fire truck and even got a hat.

There was a bouncy house that smelled pretty similar to the giant slide from yesterday. We ran into a few neighbors so Brady had some friend to bounce with.


This is him falling over. He was trying to stand and jump, two things he isn't quite coordinated enough to do yet.

Checking out the view from the back seat of the police cruiser. All the kids loved sitting back there and hopefully it will be Brady's first and only time there. He wasn't too interested in getting out.


So we put him up front until the cop asked him to get out because he was drooling on the expensive computer equipment. Brady was finger printed and had DNA taken for a Child ID kit today too, what an interesting experience to do with a 16 month old.


We had a great visit with Rachel and can't wait for the next one!

16 Months Old

Another month has passed.  Brady is continuing to get gigantic and smarty-pants-like.  We still like him and will surely be keeping him.  He is cutting a few teeth now and sorta hates life but we will survive.  He is up to 12 teeth so far and working on 3 others.  Rachel was here this weekend and was able to watch this song and dance known as the "month" pictures.
