Today was MGM/Hollywood Studios. Handy Manny was not a hit.
Riding on the backlot tour. They are in NYC.
We tried dropping him off at the Monsters Inc. door, but they didn't take whiney toddlers.
Watching some Mickey show. He actually loved it. I guess he just doesn't like when the characters touched him.
Watching the Beauty and the Beast show. He lost interest quickly, but I thought it was a super cute show.
The tears weren't as plentiful when Pepa held him.
We played in this water fountain for a while. Whatever kept him quiet was good for me.
Playing in the Honey I Shrunk the Kids playground.
Eating a snack before the stunt show. He loved this show, just not the waiting inbetween parts. There were loud noises, motorcycles, and race cars. Perfect for this kid.
He even hated characters that didn't move or talk.
Jim perfected his screaming face.
And my favorite from the trip. We tortured this kid, but then again he tortured us too.
He absolutely loved wearing 3-d glasses. Most of the time he put them on upside down.
Enjoying an ice cream. Jim had to leave while brady ate this. Jim had a really hard time with Brady getting dirty in Disney. At one breakfast he threw an OJ at me to save Brady from touching himself with chocolate fingers. What a spaz.
We relaxed and watching the big dorks perform for the High School Musical 3.
He was pissed he couldn't get in and drive.
Where's brady?
We squeezed in a quick swim while waiting for everyone to come home from riding the fun roller coasters I couldn't ride.
And another ice cream. This week was not a nutritious one. There were breakfasts that consisted of cookies and dinners that were chocolate cake. Oh well.

Disney day 6
Today was Magic Kingdom day. Obligatory picture in front of the castle. Brady loved seeing this castle from all different places, the monorail, the bus, the park, etc.
Walking through the treehouse.
Riding on Alladin's magic carpets.
On a boat safari.
Check out his sword.
Surprisingly he thought this was funny, can you see his face in the arm hole?
Riding Dumbo with mom.
We rode the carousel many times. Mostly because there was no wait time.
Super blurry but its the only character picture we got where he wasn't crying. He passed out while we were waiting in line. Oh well.

Disney day 7
Today was our last full day in Disney and we played catch up to get everything done that we wanted to before we left.
First up, the boys drove the race cars. Brady even got a "license" which he promptly showed off and then crumpled up.
Riding the train around Magic Kingdom.
Riding the monorail to Epcot. Jim's face was perfect for how we felt after 6 days dealing with a bossy toddler.
People watching.
Feeding the ducks in Epcot. I am sure we were the only people feeding organic crackers to the ducks. Jim said they tasted like cardboard but the ducks didn't mind.
The duck bit his finger, oops. Notice he now has his feet pulled up close to him.
In England talking to Mimi on the phone.
He was pissed when the phone call was over but Jim nearly melted in the closed phone booth.
All that excitement triggered this...... the beginning of a 4 hour nap. He slept in his stroller, on the bus in my lap, and then finally in the bed.
Enjoying our final meal in Disney, pizza and soda. Yummy!
Waiting for the fireworks at Magic Kingdom.
Happy 4th of July!!! Those fireworks were amazing.
We left the next morning. We had to be outside waiting for the bus at 4AM. So at 3:58 there we stood. Damn, that was early. All 3 of us slept on the way home, I woke up and quick took their picture.

Today is much better
Lucky for me, today is going much better than yesterday. He was sluggish the whole day but woke up just fine this morning. He is right back to his whiney... I mean adorable self.

How my day went....
Today was our first full day back since we got home from Disney. I had lots of things scheduled for today.
How it was supposed to look:
11:20 OB appt.
12 Lunch with Jim
Nap
3:40 Maddux vet appt. (rabies shot expires next week while we are gone, oops, nothing like waiting until the last possible second to do this)
How it actually looked:
Slept through Ob appt.
ER trip for Brady
Makeup ob appt.
Missed Maddux's appt.
I woke up at 8 to find a lethargic and unresponsive Brady. I figured he was just sleepy and recovering from the trip since he was totally normal yesterday. He slept a while in my bed and I fell asleep with him. I jolted up at 11:30, shit I missed my appointment. Reschedule for 2:30. In the meantime I notice he is still acting super weird and still won't really wake up. I decided I should call the pediatrician just to cover my ass, because I am still thinking its just him being tired from the trip. The nurse calls me back after like 20 minutes and starts in with the interrogation, I mean questions. No he hasn't eaten or had anything to drink because he is still sleeping, no he hasn't peed because he hasn't had anything to drink in about 16 hours, no he isn't acting normal, no he has no temperature. She makes me take him temp. twice while talking to her insisting my thermometer is broken. Meanwhile I am shoving them in his butt and he isn't even responding. She says "I am calling an ambulance right now!" OK, now I am panicking. I obviously wasn't concerned for the last half hour as I sat on the couch eating cereal that was resting on my belly and guessing the prices on The Price is Right( I still don't know if they won the showcase showdown). But now I am panicked. I insist its not that serious and she says "if you aren't walking out your door right now to take him to the hospital I am calling an ambulance." I rush him to the hospital where he is still only semi awake. The nurse looks him over and says he needs to be admitted, I figure this must be serious. The ER doc, we will call him asshole face, insists he is fine and basically makes me feel stupid for bringing him in. Yeah asshole face, for the record I wasn't even concerned until the pedi. nurse freaked out and threatened an ambulance. So he says now that he is slowly waking up and has no fever (yes nurse lady, I was doing it right) and his ears look fine take him home. All that fuss for nothing. He is still not himself totally but he ate and drank and played just fine so hopefully tomorrow is less eventful. I did end up making it to the OB, all is going well, but missed Maddux's appt. Today was not my day obviously.
So with that being said..... Disney pics to come tomorrow. I just couldn't get it done tonight. I am wiped out.
