For this one the hearts were already cut out. He glued the heart onto the paper. Next they were to paint with foam stampers. Surprisingly my anti-texture kid put his hands in it and hand painted.
This was just a continuation of the previous project. He finished his first one so started on this one.
This one was where they write or color with a white crayon. Then they paint over it with watercolor paints. The watercolor paints don't paint where the crayon is. Very cool.
Same thing with the watercolors.
For this one they used scrapbooking punchouts to make their shapes from scrapbooking paper. They glued the "grass" on with glue sticks. We then glued on the shapes and I made them into flowers, etc. He loved doing the punch outs.
This one is hard to see but it was very cool. We used jello powder sprinkled all over the paper. Then they dropped handfuls of snow. THen they patted and smushed the snow into the jello powder. Once it dried it smelled so yummy.
This was another day with the foam stampers. He loves fish so of course he loved using the sea creature stampers.
This day was beyond messy but super duper fun. We were warned ahead of time to dress to make a mess. This was feet painting. Giant pieces of paper on the ground. She poured piles of paint on the paper and we held their barefoot bodies up as they slipped and slid all over the paper. Again, anti-texture kid loved this activity and even did a second page.

It was quite the scene watching all those toddlers thrash around with their painted feet.
