Good thing carseats have straps

Yesterday we were actually early for our climbing group and it was raining out so we got an ice cream cone and sat in the car and ate it. I unhooked his straps and he was immediately turned around surfing on his seat. He thought he was pretty funny. It wasn't so funny when we left group and he didn't want to get strapped in, he just wanted to surf and stand.


"Gimme a lick Mom, I love Dairy Queen ice cream cones. This is our 2nd one in a week!"

Licking his fingers since he insisted on touching the ice cream multiple times.

"This is a much better view than that riding backwards stuff."

Hoppy Easter

I tried taking some Easter pictures today and he was totally not having it. I got a few decent ones but not like I was hoping. Enjoy!

Just some pics

It's been a while since I uploaded some pictures. Here are some random pictures from the past week. I still haven't been able to catch our Brady Boy walking on video. He doesn't like to perform for the video camera I guess. Hopefully soon I will catch that for everyone to see. For those of you that don't know, Brady took his first steps on Wednesday. He has done it a few times since then but never when I have my camera out. He has also been very into climbing things, like end tables and baby gates. I am thinking he will need a tent to go over his crib so he doesn't climb out. He also has been ordering from the children's menu when we go out to eat. Last night he had mac and cheese and today he had a Chipotle quesadilla. I can't believe how big he is getting.


The other day we went to the park, but it was freezing and we didn't stay long. He loves the swings and I wish we had a tree to hang a swing from. The only trees we have are in tick land so that's a no go.

Crazy face!

Brady's newfound interest is balloons. I am thinking of getting him a helium tank for his birthday, he would totally love it. Do you think they sell them at Target? I doubt it. He carried this balloon around for days.




Here is the reason we recently adult-proofed our cabinets. He has his own drawer full of goodies, a big calculator, plastic lids, packing tape, bottle of vitamins, etc. but still loves playing in the naughty cabinets. This is now locked, which was a huge task in and of itself. I totally get why people pay other people to baby proof.

I now have a "helper" to help with loading and unloading the dishwasher. Not exactly the help I want, but he works for cheap.

Cruising in the Mustang

Today Brady got to go on his first powerwheels ride with Kendal. He was so cute in that car. He had his arm up on the side like he has been riding in the front seat all his life. He rode around for a good 10 minutes and loved every minute of it.

Another day with Brady Boy

Brady had a playdate with his best buddy Ryland the other day. Brady was showing off his tunnel. They were so funny crawling through it and coming out with big static hair, even thought they don't have very much.

Outdoor Fun

Today Brady was outside playing for the first time. The weather was beautiful so I thought we would give it a try. He LOVED it! He walked back and forth in the front yard for over an hour. He wasn't a fan of the feel of the grass, but at this point of the year it is practically straw. I look forward to spending alot of time outdoors this summer. We originally tried using his walker toy but it wasn't flat enough in the yard and it kept getting stuck. And check out his new sneakers, he is pretty fly! Thanks Grandpa, good choice!

Playgroup

Here is Brady at playgroup with his friend Charlie who he hasn't seen in a while. He loves to climb on the stuff there and obviously loves licking everything too.


Charlie found his bink but Brady doesn't care because he will just eat the toy.



"Where have you been Charlie, I haven't seen you around in a while. I have missed you."

10 Months Old

Another month has passed and our Brady Boy is getting so big. I won't go on an on about how I am sad, blah blah blah.

Our trip home

Brady and I made the big trek to PA for a visit. We made the 6 hour drive all by ourselves and it went really well. We were gone for a week and this is Brady and Daddy lovin on each other when we got home. Brady even giggled when Jim walked in the door. It was so cute.

Looks like Brady is not interested in kisses from Daddy.

Here is Brady with his new furry friend Ramsey the boxer. He was so cute and dopey. Brady was sharing his water with him.

Here is Brady rocking in the big old rocking chair in Boothwyn. We had to pull over and take his picture in it. No need to worry, Rachel is standing behind him.

Big smiles! People were laughing as they drove by seeing 3 girls taking a baby's picture in a rocking chair outside of a store.

Brady sure loves his new scrunchie face smile. If you are lucky he will show it to you.


I took Brady to a place called Linville Orchards. I have been going there since I was really little and I am thinking that these are some of the same animals I visited as a little girl. Not bad for a free activity that Brady really enjoyed. He was "talking" to all of the animals. Here he is looking at the pigs. The pig was making all kinds of noises at Brady.


Brady wasn't too impressed with the horses.

It was feeding time for the ducks. They were the meanest ducks I have ever seen. They kept snapping at the fence.

We then played at the park for a bit. Here he is driving the train.




Seriously, isn't he the world's cutest baby? I sure think so!!
