23 months and 1 day

A day late..... I have the worst cold on earth and spent the whole day on the couch yesterday so we missed his actual 23 month birthday.

He must have swallowed it whole and it felt slimy or something because here is that goofy face again.

Jim thinks he looks like a monster here, like he is getting too big that he is overtaking the chair.

10 for Tuesday

Enjoy!  I am convinced he is the coolest and funniest kid ever, I am sure you feel the same.

1.  He ducks down whenever he walks under something, even if that something is 6 feet tall.  Apparently he missed the memo that he is pretty darn short.
2.  He spots airplanes while we are driving in the car.  Sometimes I have to really look to find them.  I guess his eyes work well.
3.  He tried getting in his water table but was only able to lay in it.
4.  He will do push ups with Jim on command.  He is going to be so ripped.
5.  He plays with every single matchbox car every single day, and he has at least 60.  I find them lined up and grouped together all throughout the first floor.  Tonight I found them lined up in a group of about 8 under the front table.
6.  He no longer uses a binky.  We snipped the tip last Wednesday.  Took about 3 days and its now like he never used one in the first place.
7.  He can count to 10 and talks like a chatterbox nonstop all day long.  I think his voice is the sweetest sound on earth.
8.  The other day we were laying in his crib snuggling, yes I climb in there and we snuggle sometimes.  Anyway, I was asking him to say different animal sounds and he would say them.  Then he starts naming the animals for me to say the sounds.  Randomly he starts putting his finger on his cheeks and says "ummm" like he is thinking.  He has done this a few times since and its super cute and funny.  Looks like this:

9.  He moved up to the next size of crocs, mostly because I took off his smaller ones and his feet were all marked up from them squeezing his fat feet.  So now that they are plenty big he can put on his own shoes.  The other day he was pissed that the dogs got to go outside and he didn't.  So he put his crocs on, on the wrong feet, and stood at the back door saying "outside" until I let him.  I was nice enough to switch them to the right feet, it can't possible be comfortable.
10.  We, umm  actually I mean Brady has been working on finishing his easter candy.  So today I took out a fun size pack of m&ms.  I could hear there were some crushed pieces floating around so I decided to just take out the whole ones and put them on the placemat in front of him.  Once I put them all out he says "oh man" and starts "nom, nom"ing away.

30 seconds of faces

OK, it was probably more like 60 seconds of faces, but he was super funny tonight so I just kept snapping away.   He snagged the gummy bears and that's why he was making the super goofy faces.  I think the sliminess creeped him out while swallowing them.

Here is a video of Brady counting to 10.  He does it twice and is pretty funny at the very end.

This is how close he watches TV, that's the TV stand he is touching meaning the tv is about 12 inches from his face.  I am sure he is ruining his eyes, but Jim and I were able to make a pizza together without anyone jamming themselves between us, so I will take it.

Since tonight we pizza, he ate naked.  He was wearing a new shirt and new shorts that I just didn't feel like having to scrub clean.  Well that was a great plan until I went to do laundry tonight and realized his new outfit was covered in guacamole.  Someday I will have big fancy washing machines that actually remove stains without trying.  Hint, hint Jim!

He only made a "slight" mess.  Luckily it sticks to his face.  Yes, my almost 2 year old eats baby food veggies.  Judge on!

Apparently it was good to the last drop.

Easter Sunday

It started with a snooze in the swing.  I can't believe he actually fell asleep there and stayed asleep for a while.




First egg hunt at Ron and Missy's with the Lashers.

He was like an old pro.

Then we headed over to Grandma Judy's and Brady had a small egg hunt on his own.

This is my favorite picture.  There were a few small eggs with candy in them and a few big ones with cars in them.  This was the first big egg he opened, he found a car!!

He finally got to check out his easter basket.

But he went right back to the cars.

Once we got home tried out his new bubble machine.  He loved it!

He got a bubble mower from Grandma and Grandpa.  Jim says he wasn't too sure of it when they played with it on Saturday.  Well as soon as it came out of the car, he was off and running.  Its a shame it doesn't actually cut the grass because he would have had the whole yard done.  

Oh, and he is half naked because he just jumped in the puddle in the driveway while Jim was washing the car and got SOAKED!!

Easter Saturday

This weekend we headed to Albany for Easter with Jim's family.

Just passing through: (I plan on taking pics like these to document all the states Brady has been to.  Unfortuntely he was asleep on the trip home to stop at the NH sign and we never saw a NY sign)

On Saturday we headed to Aunt Sue's house.  Brady had so much fun playing with the big kids and climbing and running in the yard.
