Watermelon

It was a beautiful day for watermelon, which Brady enjoyed by the truckload.

This picture melts me.  He is such a sweet boy sitting there happy as can be munching away.

My boys.

He got it everywhere, which I knew would happen, hence the fact that he is hanging out in a diaper.

Step 1:  Drop watermelon in dirt filled water table.

Step 2: Remove watermelon covered in dirt.

Step 3:  Continue eating like nothing ever happened.

Blowing the wishes around.

My baby is 2 years old

Boohoo, my baby turned 2 today.  We had a super fun day spent with friends at a indoor playplace, followed by naps, and then ice cream cake.  I am very sad my boy is not a baby anymore, but its not as shocking as it was when he turned 1.  I think mostly because he has been acting so much older, chatting like an 8 year old girl and interacting with people like a grown up.  Tonight Jim and I were putting Brady to bed and I told him how I was so sad he was growing up and he hugged me and said "I love you Mom."  I seriously love this kid more than anything.

Who the hell is this kid??

Surely not my sweet little baby Brady.

That sweet baby burrito turned into this kid:

And this same picture from his 1st birthday:

Holy crap!!  I am still in shock.  It took the ultrasound technician what seemed like forever, but she finally said "its definitely a girl!"

Soccer

On Saturday morning we went to Uncle Jacob's soccer game, or as Brady says "soccee ball."  He was nearly impossible to keep off the field, he just wanted to run right out there.

Not sure what Jacob was doing here, but it looks like he was trying to make Brady eat the ball.

2nd Birthday Party

On Saturday, Brady had a small family birthday party at Grandma and Grandpa's house in PA.  Besides a run in with a bottle of bubbles in the eye, it was a smashing success.  I won't get into how I can't believe my baby is 2, bla bla bla, I will save that until his actual birthday on Wednesday.  And yes, a 2 year old boy had a Dora party.  Trust me, this was better than what he picked..... Princesses.  We talked him into Dora.  Here are the pictures:

Someone was so over gift opening.

It was also Christopher's college graduation that day.  Obligatory family pictures were taken.

We tortured him with a family picture wearing the Dora hats.

Helping himself to "chuck-it."
