Our Annual Foliage Trip

We took our annual foliage trip today up north.  It wasn't looking too promising on the way up but ended up being a beautiful day.  We spent at least 5 hours in the car today and Brady was such a good boy.  Brace yourself, there are going to be too many pictures in this post, I couldn't decide.

Before we left looking too much like his father.  It was almost sickening.  He looked like such a big boy.  And yes, he is holding a jar of veggies.  He insists on grabbing stuff of the shelf in the pantry and carrying it around.

The view of the Mt. Washington Hotel.  Someday we will stay there and feel super fancy.

Last year when we took this trip Brady was about 4 months old.  We drove past this waterfall and I really wanted to get out but we thought Brady was too small.  So today we went because I am still pissed we missed out last year.  It was beautiful and I am so glad we stopped.

This is the name of the waterfall in case you care.

Then we stopped here.  Boy, did that kid want to jump right in that water.

Of course he had to throw some rocks in the pond.

This was from my favorite spot last year.  It is on a road that is actually closed all winter.  How crazy is that?  We were able to have a nice visit with 2 golden retreivers and some motorcycles.  It made it slightly entertaining for Brady since there was no room for him to run.

Looking so grown up.

Going to see the motorcycles.

Jim playing safety defense.

We found out that we get the best pictures when we use the timer setting.  I guess he is interested in the beeping and flashing, go figure.

Onto the next stop, running from Jim.

Another timer picture, I can't believe it works to get him to look at the camera.  But I can stand there dancing and singing and waving my arms and he doesn't even glance my way.

The boys were trying to push this post, Brady thought it was so funny.

Relaxing before our long ride home.  I love this kid!!

Fall Fun with Friends

Today we headed back down to the farm Brady went to last weekend with some friends.  If that place was closer to my house I would take him everyday.  There was space for the boys to run, animals to look at, and apple cider donuts.  What more do you need?  We had a great time.

There were little cutouts in the fence for the goats to stick their heads out.  It was hilarious to see the reactions of the kids when they were surprised my an appearing goat right next to their ears.

Loving the maze.

Big boy standing on the hay bales.  Of course he tried jumping off.

 The boys.

Making friends wherever he goes.

Trying to get a closer look.

"Here Mom, I will just pick up this one because I am super strong."

He loved the gourds.

Yeah, it didn't work very well taking pictures of 4 toddler boys at once.

He was done at this point.  Sometimes the blooper shots are the best ones.

After his freak out session we shared apple cider donuts.  They were heavenly.  I think Brady actually got more than I did.

He couldn't seem to shove it in there fast enough.

Children's Museum in Dover

On Tuesday we went to a really fun children's museum out on the seacoast.  We have been taking weekly trips with Cara and Miles using library passes.  This week's outting was way better than last week's trip to the zoo.  This place was beyond awesome.  We can't wait to go back.  The boys ran wild and touched and licked every item there.  It was catered to families and kids more than anything I have ever seen, changing stations in the bathrooms, wipes to clean surfaces, and a healthy vending machine.

This was the coolest train table set up I have ever seen.  It was at least 6 tables all connected.  If I had way more space in my house I would totally build him this.

The boys thought it was awesome they could flip the switch on and off a million times.

He was so pissed I put him in the mexican outfit but you should have seen the fit he pitched when I put him in the girl scout outfit.  Haha!

It was a train that he was driving, in case you can't tell.

I love the goofy face.

Jacob's Post

Last weekend Brady had a visit with his Grandparents and Uncle Jacob.  They went to a cute pumpkin patch and Brady chose his very own pumpkin.  It's on our front steps now and he can stand at the storm door and point to it throughout the day.
