Brady, Ben, & Jerry

Today we took a tour of the Ben & Jerry's factory in Vermont. We had a good time especially sampling the ice cream at the end. Here is me and Brady and then Jim and Brady on the ice cream lid.

The guy running the booth this sign was for looked at us like we were total morons. I guess we kind of are, but we sure are having a good time doing so.

Brady and the Bumbo

Today Brady tried his Bumbo chair for the first time. I am not sure if he liked it or not, the dogs were up in his face and no one likes that. He looked so cute sitting in the chair.

He of course can't pass up a chance to practice his pouty face. He is becoming a professional pouty face maker, but boy is it cute.

Does anyone really believe this shirt?? Brady's dad, charming?? Correct me if I am wrong, but didn't we see him doing keg stands a few posts ago?? I guess that's charming if you are a freshman girl in college.

2 month shots

Today Brady had his 2 month shots. I was so worried about them, but he was a brave boy!! Here he is on the scale. The Dr. said he is growing nicely. He is now 24 inches long and his big melon is getting larger, yikes!!

Here are 2 pictures before he had his shots. He had no idea what was coming next. He screamed for about 30 seconds and then fell asleep. He was such a good boy.

Brady's trip to New York

This past weekend we went for a visit to New York to see Jim's family.

Here is 5 generations. We had to take this picture early on in the party.... we were afraid Brady or Grandpa would get something on their shirts. Brady puked all over his outfit and Grandpa fell asleep after eating, so it was a good idea to do it early.

Here is Brady wearing the outfit his grandpa got for him. I don't know if Brady will be a Giants fan, but he sure looked cute in this outfit.

Uncle Jacob enjoyed taking pictures on Saturday morning. This was a cute one he captured.

At this point I think Brady was tired of all the picture taking. He is thinking "Get that damn camera out of my face!!"

Brady was a good boy on both the ride to and from NY. Here he is snoozing.

2 Months Old

Here are Brady's 2 month pictures, he was much more responsive this month compared to last month.




Jimmy was really getting him to laugh, it was very cute and I almost wasn't able to catch it on camera because I am a slow picture taker. Lucky for me, I caught a good smile.

Here is a picture of Brady with his pugs. I don't know who we had a harder time trying to get in the picture. At least with the dogs you can bribe them with treats (and I surely was dangling treats above them camera), Brady you just have to hope he looks at the camera.

We had a good day yesterday. We had our Mom's group and then Brady napped on and off all afternoon. He gets really worn out hanging out with his baby friends.

Nothing too exciting to post, just a few random pictures:

Found this sign, thought it was kinda funny.


Turns out Brady is a blankie baby. Here he is with new Taggie blanket. He was napping (or fighting it) and he had it on his head. Don't worry, we were standing there watching him and it wasn't covering his nose or mouth. Notice his hand gesture in the second one.


Another random one of him napping. The theme today is sleep. Today Brady slept until 11, ate, and napped until 12. It was nice, although he spent the rest of the day screaming. It was fun!!

Uncle Jacob's request

I have been kindly informed by Uncle Jacob that I do not update Brady's blog enough. I didn't know pictures of Brady were in such high demand. So Uncle Jacob I listened and will just post the everyday pictures I take of Brady. These pictures are ones from today which will be his last day wearing this outfit and it is one of my favorites. I can't believe he is getting so big, we are moving into 3-6 months clothes already.






I am also attempting to put a video in the blog. Let me know if it doesn't work. He is starting to like his swing even more now that he is able to see things. He will just sit in the swing and stare up at the lights and watch the animals go around. I think it is really cute. Sorry about the squeaking, the legs needed adjusting.

Pedicures and Babies

Yesterday Brady attended his first pedicure. The guy who was doing my toes thought this was the craziest and funniest thing he ever saw. He said Brady is the first baby to come in with their mom for a pedicure and was totally baffled by the Moby wrap. I don't know how he ended up doing my toes because he laughed the whole time. He kept saying "You take picture. You remember this and show him."


Today was our weekly Mom's group and the babies all lined up to have their pictures taken. It was so cute.

Brady says "Let's go gang, I will lead us!!"


He was one of the happier babies, just smiling and sucking his hands. The little girl in yellow was sucking the little boy's thumb next to her, it was adorable.


PS- This beefcake was weighed after the Mom's group and he weighs 12lbs. 14oz. now. HOLY CRAP!! At least chicks dig him.
