Here is Brady rocking a killer mohawk yesterday. You had to look really close, but there were a few hairs in the mohawk. Haha. Jim took him out like that too.

New toys

This is where I found Brady this morning. He was so quite it took me a second to find him. He always tries to sneak into the pantry and I guess the door was open this morning. Zoe and Maddux thought this was the greatest day ever. Free food! He thought he was so funny and loved the attention he was getting from the dogs. That is the dog food container in case you can't tell.

"Oops, Mom found me!"

"Let me get a few more scoops out first." Not sure if you can see but he has a huge shitty grin on his face here because he got busted.

I found this on the side of the road today for CHEAP! It is kinda big for now but in great shape so I couldn't let someone else get this bargain. He loved crawling all over it. He tried crawling up the slide for 5 minutes straight. He really wore himself out.

Brady and I went to spend some birthday money today and he got a new ride on buggy. He kept holding the handle and rocking it to make Jim push him faster. It was so funny.

He liked being so close to the dogs. Usually we go for walks in the wagon or stroller and he can't pet his friends, but in the buggy he can. He kept poking Zoe.

Birthday Party in PA

We had Brady's birthday party in PA this past Sunday. It was a cold and rainy day but the party was a blast. I think I am coming to grips with the fact that very very soon my baby will no longer be a baby.

Here is a picture of his cake. My mom picked it out and it was delicious. It has a buttercream icing and raspberry filling. It was to die for!

After he smeared chocolate all over his big melon he was much happier just being fed his cake. He even ate the delicious adult cake.

Birthday Party in PA

Of course he had to have balloons at his party. This was about 5 minutes prior to the bloody episode. He fell off those stairs behind him and bit his tongue. It's not a party until someone bleeds I guess.

This is the day after his party. He was beyond tired! We had such a great time at his party, thanks to all for celebrating with us.

5K and technical difficulties

Well 2 things. One is that Brady's Blog is up to over 5000 views. That's pretty impressive if I do say so myself. (I am patting myself on the back here). And second, I am trying to upload the pictures from his birthday party in PA yesterday but for some reason blogger isn't allowing me to upload any pictures at this time. Brady got his first rides on Pap's toys. He rode on the Bayou and the tractor. He wasn't quite sure if he liked it or not, but he wasn't crying so he couldn't have hated it.

On Tuesday Brady's buddy Ryland was here for the afternoon. We enjoyed some fun outside in the pool. I don't know who was more tired after the day, the boys or me. I don't know how people with twins survive because I was beyond tired. The were so funny splashing each other and eating grass. I had a hard time lugging over 40 lbs. of greasy baby around with me, but at least they smelled good(it was the sunscreen).

He loves to climb and give me a heart attack all at once. He climbed completely on top of this laundry basket and sat down. Then he tried to stand on it. I nearly choked and put that away, enough fun was had.

My pictures have been saved!

Thank my lucky stars, my memory card was not ruined with the camera the other day. My pictures have been saved. I am quite relieved. Although I am still totally pissed at myself for killing the camera. I received my mother's day gift early in the shape of a new camera. Not exactly what I was hoping for but definitely needed.

Anywho..... on Saturday morning we tried out Brady's new water mat. It was a great 10 bucks spent(even if Jim had to drive 73 hours away to get it from someone on Craigslist). He loved it even though the water was freezing.

We had a party here the other night for our friend Dave to celebrate him finishing the Boston Marathon. Someone dropped off balloons for the party and Brady's eyes lit up like I have never seen. He has been carrying them around since Friday. He cracks me up!

And lastly, here is a video of him right before his bath. He gets so freaking excited every night waiting for the tub to fill up. I laugh every time I see this. I think this might be my favorite time of the day because he is so happy.

Boston Marathon

Today Brady and I went to the Boston Marathon. We had a great time. It was fun cheering everyone on and it made me want to take up running. Then I came to my senses and realized those people looked half dead running. It was a chilly day but Brady was such a good boy. He was happy and smiley and made a few new friends. And to cap off a wonderful day we had Chipotle for dinner. What an awesome day.
