Patch Hill Babies and Bloody Noses

We were at a party on Saturday night and a few of the Patch Hill babies were there. Here is Brady, Ryland, and Gabe. Brady was a bit of a sour puss because he didn't nap, that's why he isn't his smiley self in the pictures.

Here is Brady and Julianne.

This is Ryland, Julianne, and Brady. Brady was born on a Monday, Ryland was born on that Friday, and Julianne was born the Monday after Ryland. Within a week all 3 of these babies were born.


This is Brady this morning playing in another "fort". Not sure why he loves hanging out under his toys, but he sure does. Maybe I need to buy him a real fort to play in.


Here is my baby's first bloody nose. He was playing with a toy and it flipped back and smacked him in the face. He cried for a few seconds and then was ok. I didn't even cry, that was the most amazing part.

We had a game day with the neighbors today and here is Macy and Brady cuddling.

Brady's Walker

Brady made good use of his walker. Rather than sitting in it, he would rather just play under it. He is enjoying playing independently more these days. He can entertain himself with the randomest things and this is one example.





Here is Brady's demonstrating a different use for his leap frog table. I was taping this but ran out of space on my camera. He went around and around giggling for much longer than this video shows, it was so freaking cute!

Mr. Gags Alot

Well it seems that Mr. Gags Alot is making a turn towards actually eating table foods. He has been trying all sorts of things and no vomit immediately following. Sweet! This is him today at lunch where he ate broccoli, shredded carrots, and a french fry. He loved it all equally and didn't gag once. YIPPEE!! He may not looked thrilled but he was quite happy (it is probably because he is sick and tired of me taking pictures.)



Well it looks like it is time for a gate at the bottom of the stairs. Jim seemed to think it would be months before he noticed the steps. Not so much! I was drying my hair today and Jim starts calling my name to come here. I get to the top of the steps assuming I am going down to find them but nope, he was half way up. Brady took off up the stairs like he has been doing it all his life. It's off to Babies R Us I go!!

9 month check up

Brady had his 9 month check up today. He is up to 19 lbs. 1 oz. and 28" long. I was guessing he was at least 21 lbs. so luckily I didn't place any bets on that. He is in the 25th percentile for weight and height. I guess he dropped a bunch down the height chart, but I quickly reminded the doctor that we aren't tall people, so we don't expect him to be super tall. His big melon was something like 47 1/3 centimeters (I think) which is the 95th percentile. I guess he will be short with a big huge brain. He wasn't his happy self today while we were there and you can see that in the pictures. He is growing well and meeting his milestone according to the doctor. She said he was a bit ahead in the moving around part and guesses he will be walking within the month. I seriously hope she is wrong on that one.

He was happier eating the melon measurer. ( I am fully aware that isn't a real word, but what else would I call it?)

9 months old

OK, I am currently attending a pity party in my honor. I can't believe my little baby is 9 months old today. I say this every month, but this month is especially sad for me. I don't know why. Maybe because he is not only getting older, but he is such a "big boy" now. He is all over the place, crawling and cruising and such. He is getting slightly more comfortable with table foods, which is good. He is so fun to hang out with him now.

I have no idea why he was looking that way and making a crazy face. It was only me and him in the room and I am obviously behind the camera. Silly boy!

Remember when he fit in the chair this way? He is all scrunched up now!

In case you don't remember, here he is at 2 months old. I couldn't use the 1 month picture because it made me instantly tear up. He was so tiny.

And now look at him! He is a monster! I think you can kinda see him newest top teeth in this pic.

He really knows how to work the camera! I guess that's what happens when you are the subject in over 4000 pictures!

And here is a picture of the damage Brady has done to his crib already. He stands on that side in the morning and after his naps watching the door waiting for us to come get him. I guess I should hop out of bed a little quicker in the morning. I am not sure the picture shows just how bad it looks. We bought this crib thinking it would hold up well through multiple children. Well in 9 short months it already looks like we trash picked it. And this is only one side! The walls looks like total crap too, all smudged with finger prints and paint scuffs from where he took his letters off the wall. He is lucky he is cute!

Checking his blog

This kid is OBSESSED with our computers. He manages to seek it out and bang on the keys wherever we hide it. He will find the charging cord and follow it until he finds the computer. Here he is checking his blog.

And here are two pictures of him waiting to get into the tub. I just love his dimply little bum. Someday he is going to hate me for these pictures, but I don't care because I love them.

He looks like a drunken sailor in this one. This kid loves the tub, that's for sure!

Daddy's Day Off

Jim has the day off today and we enjoyed a lazy day at home. I feel like sometimes I am really good with taking pictures and other times, not so good at remembering. I am sure it seems like I am constantly taking pictures, but that is not the case. Well, today was one of those "lots of picture days". Enjoy!

"Don't bother taking my toys out for me Dad, I will just do it myself."



As you know, Brady Boy now has 7 teeth. In this picture you can kinda see his top snaggle tooth. He looks so funny with his top teeth all coming in and they are at different stages, some are almost in and others are just sticking out of the gums. And yes, he is Turtley Awesome!

This is my new laundry basket, which apparently he loves as much as me!



It was beautiful out today and yesterday and we were able to go for a walk both days. This was our walk today. The cold never seems to bother him which is good especially living in New England.

This kid licks everything, and I mean EVERYTHING. On that list includes the toilet bowl, dog toys, dog bowls, and now dog crates. He won't eat pieces of real food but will happily chomp on a cow hoof on the dog bed. Disgusting!
